Introductions and Intentions

My very first post!

I've enjoyed reading blogs for a long time and have been planning this one in my head for almost as long.  I have finally decided to take the plunge in hopes that I can document the learning and fun that takes place now that our oldest will be starting kindergarten at home.

After talking it over with my husband, we have decided to give our children "nicknames" on the blog to protect their privacy.  Our 5 year old daughter will be known as Spitfire, our 2 1/2 year old son will be Firecracker, and our 4 month old daughter will be Sparkle.  For now, we probably won't post pictures of their faces but reserve the right to change our minds! :)  My husband would like to be known as Inferno! Hah!  He is quite the funny/goofy guy and came up with it as we were brainstorming future nicknames that go with the "light" theme.

A little bit about us:
We are Catholic! We are homeschoolers!  We love to DIY!  That probably gives you an idea of the kind of posts to expect!

Mostly we are trying to enjoy each others company and that of our children while leading each other to Heaven. :)
